Weather reports in Scotland
Very much contrary to popular UK opinion, all parts of Scotland are very accessible indeed in winter and the weather is surprisingly clement and kind. Clear air, crisp mornings, and winter sunshine dominate, although like the rest of the UK we have the odd gale and snowstorm. But no more likely than in other parts – and as Scotland is usually far better prepared in advance for adverse weather than England, Wales and Ireland, you are likely in fact to face far less disruption to your travel plans here than in other parts of the UK. And there is so much to see, do and enjoy, even in the event of inclement weather. For skiiers, mountain sports enthusiasts, those with a passion for white water rafting, adrenalin sports and the like, we need some less than perfect weather!!!
